For 12 years, I broke my back lugging this thing around. Sure, I made OK money but at least I was able to see what was on the streets...cars!
It was August 2002, when my life changed. I didn't realize that I was talking to the owner of the worlds largest publishing companies. I had my usual quick, how's your day conversation and this man started telling me about a recent Ferrai Dino he bought as a collector's car. It was a rare 1956 V6 (first Ferrari to ever have one) in red. I thought he was joking and told him, "If this is true I want to become an automotive writer. He started laughing and told me to give him a call. A few days later, I got the job working for the America's top automotive magazine, of course I used another name.
I loved the job, but I wanted to be my own boss, so since last year (2009) I created, the one and old:
WoodysCarSite.com
My 99 Golf of what it would look like clean.
Still have and and loving it!!!
